170’ Rotary Distributor – 316SS – Vancouver, BC
This large-scale 170-foot rotary distributor, fabricated from 316 stainless steel, showcases D&R’s expertise in complex assembly and precision machining. The build required tight-tolerance machining of oversized parts, detailed component assembly, and a full Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) prior to shipment. Due to its size, the distributor exceeded the physical limits of our facility. To ensure safe and accurate final assembly, we brought in a crane to support the build and coordinate safe shipment to Vancouver. Over the span of four years, D&R supplied a total of four mechanisms for this water treatment project, demonstrating our commitment to long-term partnerships and technical excellence.

Travelling Bridge – Ashbridges Bay WWTP – Toronto, ON
One of three mechanisms to be supplied to Ashbridges Bay Wastewater Treatment Plant, this 115-foot travelling bridge combines aluminum and stainless steel fabrication with precision machining and full mechanical assembly. This large-scale structure was built to support efficient skimming and sludge removal in one of Canada’s largest wastewater facilities. With multiple material types and critical tolerances, this project exemplifies D&R’s capacity to handle complex municipal infrastructure work.

4-Rope Bar Screen Rake Carriages – U.S. Power Plant
For this energy sector application, D&R fabricated four (4) rake carriages used for heavy-duty intake water screening. Each carriage underwent full machining, painting, and final assembly before shipment. These components play a vital role in protecting turbines and downstream equipment by filtering out debris from water entering the power plant’s system.

90’ Clarifiers – 304SS – Salt Lake City, UT
This project involved the fabrication of two 90-foot clarifiers using 304 stainless steel, built for a large water treatment facility in Utah. The clarifiers were shipped across four truckloads, highlighting our expertise in logistical planning and transport coordination. 304SS was selected for its strength and corrosion resistance in fluid-handling environments, making it ideal for this municipal application.

Climber Screen – Orange County, California
This project involved complex machining, mechanical assembly, conduit piping, and integrated electrical components, all culminating in a complete run-test prior to shipment. Designed for wastewater applications, the climber screen highlights D&R’s capability in precision assembly and multi-system integration.

105’ Digestor Cover – Miami, FL
A large-scale municipal project, this digestor cover required extensive plate work, a complex trial fit, and precise coordination of lifting points and support geometry. With a massive footprint and high tolerance requirements, this project showcases D&R’s capacity for heavy fabrication and field-conscious execution. A total of fifteen digestor covers, or well over 3,000,000 lbs of 316SS, was supplied on this project.

Scrubbers – Various Locations
Designed for industrial air and chemical handling systems, this series of scrubbers utilized a variety of materials including C276, AL6XN, and Duplex stainless steels. These builds demonstrate D&R’s versatility in high-performance alloys, complex geometries, and multi-process welding environments.

Water Treatment Tanks – Various Locations
These tanks feature stainless steel plate work, internal baffle configurations, and critical trial fit to support reliable field installation. Each unit was detailed from customer drawings, fabricated to tight tolerances, and delivered ready-to-install.

Air Treatment Filters – Middle East
These custom filter units required mechanical assembly, internal wiring, and component testing prior to delivery. Used for industrial air filtration systems, this project reinforces D&R’s strength in systems-level fabrication.

Drum Filters – U.S.
These drum filters involved multi-stage machining, complicated piping, and detailed mechanical assembly. Our team managed fabrication, machining, assembly, electrical prep, testing, and transport for these large, high-performance components used in solids-liquid separation processes.

Grit Screws – In-House Manufacturing
Our grit screws are fabricated entirely in-house, from the screw flights and shafts to final machining and assembly. These components are a critical part of grit removal systems in municipal and industrial treatment plants, and reflect our ability to deliver fully self-contained production processes.
